This Circles 4 Circulation Program is designed to support joint health and longevity. As we age, natural lubrication can decrease, leading to reduced synovial fluid movement within our joints. When this fluid circulation is compromised, mobility and range of motion can diminish. This three-part program focuses specifically on the ball-and-socket joints of the shoulders and hips. By gently “drawing circles” in multiple planes and orientations, we help stimulate synovial fluid movement, nourish the joints, enhance mobility, and restore freedom of motion in a safe and effective way—promoting smoother, more efficient movement.
Part 3: In Part 3, we grow upward from the floor, exploring circular movements with the limbs reaching outward in abduction. These expanded shapes increase the demand for stability and control, strengthening the joints while maintaining fluidity. The result is a greater sense of balance, strength, and freedom in upright movement. For this practice you will need two blocks.
