Core Stabilizers Part 1

Our primary core stabilizers are deep muscles that wrap around the trunk, providing corset-like support for the pelvis and spine. These muscles play a vital role in balance, posture, injury prevention, and reducing pain. When the core lacks strength, other parts of the body may compensate, which can contribute to chronic discomfort. In Part 1 of this series, I share four core exercises to build strength in the transverse abdominis and gluteal muscles. As your core capacity grows, gradually increase repetitions and sets. No props are required for this practice.
