Enhancing Core Stability

We use our hip flexors for everything from walking, to climbing, riding a bike, running, and dancing. If you are lifting your leg, you are using your hip flexors. However, collectively speaking, we have become a species that spends a disproportionate amount of our lives sitting. This weakens our hip flexors and contributes to low back pain, hip tightness, and poor pelvic alignment. Strengthening our hip flexors enhances our core stability and reduces the risk of injury. SALUD! Here's to your health! For this practice you will need two blocks and a blanket.
