In Part 2 of 'Moving with Ease: A Shoulder Health Series', we introduce myofascial release (MFR) techniques to ease tension in the muscles and connective tissues surrounding the shoulder joints. Through simple, self-guided massage practices, you’ll encourage hydration and ease within the tissues, create more space for breath, support better posture, and nurture a calmer, more relaxed nervous system. For this practice you will need: 2 tennis balls or therapy balls, a strap, two blocks, a cushion, and a blanket.
